Christos Manolopoulos resides in Athens, Greece, is one of the primary studio drummers for The Rumba Kings' recordings and pre-production work. Co-founder and producer, Johnny Bacolas, met Manolopoulos after seeing him perform with Greek vocalists, Stelios Dionisiou. Bacolas recalls, "The entire time during the show, I couldn't stop watching the drummer. He had the most amazing feel, chops, and fills. I was blown-away by him and had to shake his hand after the show, and let him know how much I admired his playing." Upon meeting, the two musicians instantly bonded and vowed to work together in the future.
Manolopouls has one recording credit on The Rumba Kings' debut album, "The Instrumental Sessions, Vol I.," on the song titled, "Angelina," and in 2020 was the featured drummer on the band's Greek single featuring vocalist, Sofi Alexandrou, titled, "Den tha se Ksehaso." Since then, he's performed on several of the band's quarantine videos and new music the band is producing.
